The Birthday Boy

This weekend Amber and Roberts little boy Brady turned 1. We went to celebrate with them. Mallory had a great time playing with Brady. He sometimes doesn't quite know what to think of her because she is so silly. It was funny to watch them interact. We always have a great time with them (Mommy and Daddy included) and we were so happy to be there to celebrate his birthday. There was lots of playing, a couple of naps, and bath time together. We love you Brady hope you had a very Happy Birthday.

Mallory is into anything and everything she can get her hands on. She is a very curious baby and so happy to play with anything. She likes to clean out the Tupperware cabinet, dig in her toy bin, jump and play on the couch (this is our nightly ritual before bath time), snuggle with her taggi, climb the stairs, crawl anywhere, talk to anything, blow raspberries, and walk with her new push walker. She is ready to walk but doesn't stand still long enough to figure out how to balance. It cracks us up our little Miss Mover and Shaker. She is a sheer delight to us.

Playing with Marley (her favorite animal)

Last weekend we went to Longview to see Mia & Paddy. Actually Meredith had a bridal shower so we went in and Mallory got to spend some time with the McNulty clan. She is so intrigued and excited by all animals right now so of course she loved Molly Ric and Cheryl's dog. She got lots of love, play time, and kisses. Mallory's great grandfather Rex (aka Pa) even came to visit and she got loving from him too. There was crawling around, watching Molly, playing with bubbles, and hanging out outside. It was a great weekend.

This weekend Mark and I worked around the house and Nana and Pop Pop gladly watched Mallory so we could get some uninterrupted work done. So we had everyone over for dinner. The evening ended with Hailey and Mallory taking a bath together which Hailey thought was so much fun.

These past 2 weeks she learned to wave her hands and say "Ba". We say Bye Bye so we assume that is what she is saying. She also has 2 new top teeth. So we have 4 on top and 2 on the bottom. She has started eating Puff's, and Little Crunchers. She loves them and thinks they are such a treat. She continues to crawl around and pull up on everything. When she is awake she is not still for more than a minute! She sleeps great and I would too if I ran around like that. She is very active but we cant complain because she is such a happy baby.
