2011 has been a very busy year fro us. Last weekend Mark's birthday was Friday, my mom's (aka Nana) was Saturday, and Mallory got baptized on Sunday. We had a wonderful weekend. We went to dinner both Friday and Saturday for birthdays and then Sunday was church followed by a gathering of family at our house to celebrate. We had cake (Cathy's cakes, yummy) 3 days in a row and the weekend was filled with good food. It is always wonderful when all of Mallory's family is around and so we had an entire weekend full of love and family fun. We are truly blessed.

This past weekend we went to Dallas for Meredith's engagement party. Mallory loved playing in the big king size bed at the hotel and got to put on a party dress for the party. I am pretty sure about 75% of the party held her and loved on her. We were glad she got to go and share in the festivities with us.

Mallory is changing weekly if not daily. We had our 6 month appointment and she is growing and doing perfectly according to the Pedi. She is a very silly, happy baby. She rarely cries, and only fusses from time to time. She cracks us up on a daily basis with the little things she gets fixated on. She sits perfectly on her own, just started crawling (only slowly but soon will be on the move), she walks in the walker, jumps in the jump-a-room, says dadadadada, mamamama, babababa, nananana, and as of this weekend now has 2 teeth. She does not like to be still and would stay up all night if there is something going on to keep her attention. We have only found that she is not into the jarred meat (who can blame her they smell like pet food) and other than that eats all veggies, fruits, and oatmeal. She is taking 2 really long naps during the day and an evening cat nap. She goes to bed about 8:30 and wakes up about 7:45. She likes to have her face covered or smushed in the bumpers to sleep and we even had to have Nana make some bumpers for the paknplay so that she would sleep when we traveled. It worked like a charm but is very funny. She will give you a smile at the drop of a hat, and her little giggle and laugh is infectious. We are having so much fun.
