So I realize that I have fallen behind on blogging. I am going to try and do better starting this year. So to catch you up. We had Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years since my last post. Life in the McNulty household is definitely different. Mallory is 18 months old now. She weighs 22.1 pounds and is in the 9th percentile for her weight. She is 35 inches long and is in the 42nd percentile for her height. She is becoming tall and skinny! She is a bundle of energy ALWAYS and is starting to "chatter" up a storm. She can say almost all the names of the people she knows. She says 1-2 word phrases in correct context. He infamous phrases right now are "up please", "I want it", "what happened", "it funny". She likes to take her shoes on and off herself (and dont even think about trying to help) She knows what her shapes are and put them in the correct spot. She has recently started counting. It goes in this order "one, tree, pive, six, teben, nine, nine, ten". Every night we have to have a "bauble" bath, and then read a book in mommy and daddy's bed. She love to give big hugs (while patting your back), she will give kisses and blow kisses. She LOVES to color with a pen or crayons. She likes to go "walking walking" and is very independent. We also have a new addition to our family. A black lab puppy named Piper or as Mallory calls her "Pepper". Mallory loves dogs so much that we decided to get one for her to grow up with. She wakes up every more and asks for her. I on the other hand am a puppy "mom" again which is more tiring than I remembered the last time. Mallory is very fond of all vegetables and fruits, she will even eat salad. We are working on meats but can only guarantee turkey. A fun favorite meal of hers is spaghetti. We call her our little "fruititarian". Because she will never pass up fruit and can eat an entire meal of it. We are truly having a blast with her at this age. She learns something new everyday and it is so much fun to watch.
