The drama of it all!

Well Mark is back from being gone for 10 days. We missed him terribly but thanks to my mother, we survived. I would drop Mallory off at my parents house and my mom would have coffee and some sort of breakfast for me. Then all but 1 night when I picked up Mallory she had dinner for me as well. I told her it is going to be hard to actually take her to the real sitter, because I would not have my coffee and breakfast. Amber even brought dinner out one night and hung out so I could do some laundry and dishes. Thanks to everyone for all the help!
This past weekend was Hailey's 2nd birthday. So Friday we went to dinner for her birthday. Hailey walked up to Mallory and said "Awwww...she's so pretty" Later she gave her a hug and said "Awww...she's so sweet". She truly loves her cousin. Then Saturday was the big birthday party. We spent all day at Hailey's birthday party and had a great time. There were babies and little kids everywhere. Mema & Papa even came in town for the party!
Mallory has had a couple of big "milestones" this week. After observing her pulling on the blanket in the car seat Nana decided it was time to introduce the "lovie" So I threw it in the car seat the next morning and she LOVES it. She pulls it up by her face when she is sleepy. It is too cute. She also has rolled over! Mom said she did it once last week but I didn't believe her because I didn't see it again. But today I witnessed it twice. She goes from her tummy to her back. Guess we are done with Tummy time if she doesn't want to do it she is just going to roll over. The verbalization is free flowing. You can pretty much get her to "talk" to you all the time. She coos at you and squeals. It is pretty cute. She almost has full head control. You can put her in the seated position (holding her of course) and she looks around. I have used the bumbo seat every morning this week and she just looks around. We are still working on not swaddling and half swaddling. She can take about 45 min nap half swaddled and only about 15-20 minutes completely un-swaddled. So we will keep working on it. She changes everyday it seems like. It is great to watch her observe and learn.
