Tomorrow on the 4th of October Mallory will be 3 months old. I was looking at pictures today of the day we brought her home and she has changed so much. She has developed her own little personality now, and she looks completely different. This week seemed like a whirlwind. Mark and I are both back at work and in full swing. We take Mallory in the morning, work all day, pick her up, play with her for a few hours, give her a bath, feed her, and put her to bed. We then get everything ready for the next day (her clothes, our clothes, diapers, bottles, everything from the day before cleaned and sterilized) Then we get up and do it all over again the next day. We all three have fallen into a pretty good little daily routine.
This past weekend Mark's brother Michael came down to visit with his dad (AKA Paddy). Michael has been out of state since Mallory was born and so this was the first meeting of Mallory and Uncle Mike. She loved watching him and seems mesmerized by his hair. She seems to have stolen Michaels heart just like everyone elses she meets. On Saturday, we drove to Marble Falls. Cheryl (AKA Mia) was attending a wedding there with all of her long time girlfriends. So we took Mallory to meet Mia's group of friends. She performed well for them. She did lots of talking and cooing and even rolled over for them. They all loved on her. They are all very special to Cheryl and so we know it was wonderful to introduce them to Mallory. Then Michael, Paddy, Mark, Mallory and I went o have lunch on the lake in Marble Falls since it was a gorgeous day and then spent the remainder of the weekend hanging out and loving on the little one.
Mallory's new thing this week is bath time has become all about splashing. We took the newborn insert out of the tub and she LOVES it. She can kick and splash her arms all around. It is pretty funny to watch her get so excited. She has also moved from the 0-3 month clothes into the 3-6 month clothes. We rotated the closet and the drawers today after the onsie we put on her last night was so short the neck stretched all the way down to almost her elbows. So, moving on.
