This past weekend Mallory spent the weekend running fever for 4 days in a row. She was so happy all weekend though. She rarely fussed and even laughed. If you didn't know she was running fever you would have never thought there was a thing wrong with her. With the help of Tylenol and Ibuprofen it would drop down to 99 ish and then every evening would spike up to about 103 degrees. After 3 days of fever we took her to the doctor. Her ears were clear, no congestion, and no clue about the fever. We had to do testing for a Urinary Tract infection. 3 days later all tests came back clear so the Pedi said she thinks it was just a virus and we got lucky because she had no symptoms other than fever.
Last weekend Mia and Paddy also came to visit Mallory. Ric and Mark went fishing and the girls went shopping. Then we had a wonderful Valentine dinner with them. Steak and Lobster and then berries with cream. It was a great way to spend Valentines. Actual Valentines day was Monday and Mallory got to spend it with her Nana (because she was still running fever) Then it was to bed early for her and Mark and I had leftovers. Not very romantic but we really had celebrated the night before with Ric & Cheryl.
Mallory continues to learn and grow. At 7.5 months she weighed 16 pounds. She is pulling up on anything and everything now. She found the door stoppers this week and this is her new fascination. She likes to pull it and hear the noise. My dad said that was one of my favorite things to do. Actually I think his words were "like mother like daughter" She is such a happy silly baby.
